Hope Becomes a Champion!

Becky
Johnson
Hope's
Handler

When Hope grew up and became older she was put with a professional handler at six months of age.

Becky Johnson trained her for the show ring and she was brought out at about seven months of age to start her showing career.

I was very honored to have seen her at the Kennel Club of Columbus show which was held nearby my little town of Seymour, IN.  And I also got to meet her handler, Becky Johnson.  I was so pleased when this girl not only won the points but also went Best of Breed and took a Group Four in the herding group.

WOW, not even a year old and winning already.  She was gorgeous.  I was so proud of her and of the fact that my name was down on her papers as her breeder.  It was such an honor to have that priveledge.

Here is a picture of her I took at the show where she did her winning.

Ch. Abbotsford Annabelle Drummond (Cleo)

Yes, her new name is Cleo.  I will always think of her as Hope.  She is just the most gorgeous girl and to think she is Bree's daughter.

Here are more pics from other shows.  Best news of all....she is now one point away from her Grand Championship.  What a dog!  So from a slight handicap of a crooked foot to a gorgeous Champion Sheltie.

Note: Cleo/Hope is now a Grand Champion. She finished her title in the fall of 2019.
What a dog!
Becky Johnson and Hope Again!

Soon Hope will be bred and hopefully pass on her looks and type to a new generation of dogs.  She is just something else!

And....her sisters are not too shabby themselves.  Here are pics of them.
