It's been 8 years since I had a new set of wheels.

Since I needed to downsize as I did not show much anymore due to my obedience dog's passing away, and I needed something to sit a bit lower for my wheel chair bound Mom to ride in, I decided on the Dodge Journey.

The cargo space this three row seat vehicle has enabled me to put one row in the floor and I was able to get two crates side by side and to also put one of the second row seats down and add a third crate. This left me one seat up in back and the front row seats to carry two passengers.

LOVE the storage in this thing. It has a infloor area directly in front of the crates in the back to put all kinds of dog supplies in as well as a set of jumper cables.

Behind the driver seat and passenger seat in the floor are two lift out ice chests to hold soda, sandwiches and water for the dogs.

More storage under the front seat passenger side and a console where I no longer have to store CD's. I have a USB connection where I plug in a jump drive with all my CD's on it that have been turned into MP 3's. Plays right over the radio.

Along with bluetooth for my phone I am happy as a clam taking all calls hands free.

Add to that Remote Start, keyless entry, push button start, a back up camera onscreen and back up sensor buttons, heated seats and heated steering wheel and it doesn't get any better then that.

I miss my Grooming signs but have added cute sheltie decals on the back. And as my grooming career is slowing down I really don't need to advertise much anyway.

Loving this SUV!
