Welcome to my new site. I am hoping that about this time next year I will be having a first litter of puppies from my two shelties, Mac and Laoghaire (pronounced Leery).
It has been a LONG time since I have produced a litter.
My last one was from Bree who is now spayed due to thyroid issues. This was in Nov. of 2014.
Before her I bred shelties in the 80's but quit while I was going through a divorce.
Now I have decided to venture into this area again.
Since I only have one female, I will be producing only one litter per year or less. So puppies will be available on a very limited basis. Also since our dogs are part of our family rather than basic kennel dogs, they live in the house with us and are treated like family members. All puppies raised by us will be raised in our home and NOT in a kennel.
Performance is my first priority as a sheltie with a bad temperament can't do well in obedience, agility or as a therapy dog, I want to breed sound dogs mentally as well as physically.
Please check back here for any new updates and enjoy my site!
So Laoghaire is bred and should be about two weeks along in her pregnancy.
Before her we got in another female from Klassical Shelties and bred her. She is going into her fourth week now and is due about Nov. 4.
Another little girl from Country Breeze Shelites is also bred to Mac and due end of November.
November will be a busy month for births of Mac babies. Very exciting for sure!
To view pictures of all the lovely ladies due to have puppies in November go to Mac's page and read all about it.
Cannot wait to see the first born Mac children.
So very glad you visited Mary Beth! So you had a Bree as well. What a small world.
My Bree developed thyroid issues so we had her spayed. Big disappointment to her breeder but it was for the best. We do not want to breed problem dogs so it was off to the vet to be fixed.
She is six years old now and her Grand Champion daughter, Cleo is almost five. Seems live yesterday Bree was giving birth to them.
I am looking forward to breeding my tri girl to my bi blue boy next month and hope to have beautiful blue merles and tri colors really soon.
Keep checking back with me for pictures of them sometime in…
This is Mary Beth Box.. I don't know how to post a picture.. but wanted you to know how much your Bree looks like my own Bree who died last year. Will try to see if I can't get a picture of me and Bree later.
